No, this product is not all brass
It’s not brass it’s bronze. Almost a dark brown.
It's not brass at all. The finish is "oil-rubbed bronze", but I don't know what the actual metal is. Not brass though.
I installed this faucet over a year ago and it still looks perfect. No issues with the finish.
I purchased and installed this unit approximately 10 months ago. So far so good.
I have had to replace one of these twice over about a 10 year period. The original brand was Pegasus, but as far as I can tell they are identical. The base corroded severely and separated from the underlying plastic bottom. They have a lifetime warranty, so the first one was a one-to-one swap out at the store. The second time they no longer carried it in the store, so I received a store credit and ordered it on-line from the Home Depot web site, but was not able to use the store credit for the on-line purchase. I have two of these and four of the wide set versions. One of the wide-set handles had a problem recently where the handle became detached from the stem, but I was able to order a new one and did not bother to try to get a new one under warranty. Overall, the wide-set models have held up better than the one piece faucets. Possibly due to them being more heavy duty and made primarily of brass, without the thin base of the one piece model.
Thank you. This unit comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so simply contact the Customer Care Department and they would be glad to assist you in getting the parts you need.
I would check directly with the manufacturer customer service or Home Depot , if you purchased them there.
Yes. They are available on-line from Home Depot both for this model and the wide-set model. I replaced one recently.
Thank you. There is a decorative cap on the top of the handle that you remove and under that is a screw that is holding on the handle. Once you remove that, the handle should come off.
Thank you. Simply contact the Customer Care Department at 1-877-580-5682 and they would be glad to assist you with any change out instructions and any parts that might be needed under the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Like most modern faucets you replace the cartridge, not a washer. I assume you can find the replacement cartridge on-line from Home Depot.
how do i change the cartridge ?
