Under each horizontal segment of the handle is a plastic cap/plug - one red, the other blue for hot and cold water, respectively. Remove the cap/plug; and behind it, there's a set screw. Loosen the set screw and the whole handle should lift off. Good luck.
Hey there Anne Yes there are set screws that should hold the handles in place. There will be small set screws behind the small pop off, color hot or cold handles. Remove these and there will be small set screws there. Mouse
Remove the rubber cap near the base of the handle to expose the set screw. You'll need a 2.5mm Allen key to back off the set screw enough for the handle to lift straight up.
The pop up itself is standard metal clad over plastic. No different than the 250.00 Kohler or American Standard faucet packages.
It should last indefinitely, providing it's not subjected to physical abuse or misuse.
That is a good question, considering that this part is not exposed to the sun nor any other destructive conditions, my educated guess is it will take many years to decay and break.
I've had my two faucets in use for two years and have not experienced any leaks. So, I don't know the answer. I'd recommend checking with a plumbing expert at your nearest Home Depot. Then, if he/she is unable to answer your question, I'd contact the manufacturer directly. Good luck.
Hi Mom:) The installation guide that came with the faucet should show the part numbers of the replacement cartridge assemblies. The hot and cold sides are different. Hot: Cartridge H - Part number RP20067 Cold: Cartridge C - Part number RP20068 You'll need an allen key to remove set screw holding the faucet handles.
most faucets can be rebuilt. Not sure what this one has inside. Shut off water, remove the handle usually by loosing a set screw, take the retaining nut, and remove the stem by pulling up on it. Look into the hole you'll see a round thing pushed into one of the holes. Pick it out. a small spring is under it. You can get this part at HD. Reverse what you did. Spring first the same way it came out small end up, "washer" next over the spring and in the recess. sometimes you need a pencil or something to line things up, stem back in as it came out, lock nut, handle. If this this is not the case you might have to change some O rings on the stem. Take the stem to the store and match it to the display for parts needed. Either way it should not be crazy money.
No
No...both were faulty
I would look at your install directions, and there might be a parts breakdown , look on this sheet and there would be a way to order spare parts. If not, then go back to the store and ask customer service what to do., Thanks Skgrace hope this helps
I don't know, but I would use crayon wax from a 64 color crayon set, melt it, and put that into the hole. I've done this as a cosmetic touch-up for a lamp in the past. Last resort, there may be a parts list from a faucet and then contact the manufacturer.
First, I believe the missing plug should be provided free of charge. Recommend you contact the store where you purchased the faucet. Then, if they are unable or unwilling to supply the missing part, recommend you contact the manufacturer direct. Good luck.
Thank you. Those handles should not be wobbly. This unit comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so we suggest that you contact the Home Depot Customer Care Department at 1-877-527-0313 and they can assist you with troubleshooting as well as provide any parts that might be needed under the warranty.

Lightly tighten the stem. Turn the water valve slightly open to allow water to flow as you are tightening to avoid crushing the seal/seat.
2 mm worled
They are 3/32" hex-head screws.
Thank you. That is a 2.5 metric Allen screw. If you are looking for a replacement, this model comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so simply contact the Customer Care Department and they would be glad to send one out for you.
Both answers don't work for my handles.
It's a hex socket set screw. Requires a 2.5mm Allen key to remove.
It appears to be some sort of vacuum breaker.
Anna, It sounds like you may have a defective faucet. I'd recommend taking it back to the store where you bought it and get a replacement. Good luck, Dave
Yes, I would think that it is defective ! The only hole I have seen in these faucets is where the push rod goes through for the sink drain. If you can take it back to the store. Mouse
