I'd return it and exchange for a new one. I replaced 4 of the same and there weren't any loose handles. It only tales 20 minutes to change out the faucet.
It probably came loose during shipping. There is a small red plastic plug inserted in the handle. Remove it and use the proper Allen wrench and you should be able to tighten the screw. Bill
The handles turn very smoothly intentionally. If it doesn't feel right you should call Glacier Bay and possibly exchange it.
You can tighten the handle using a Allen piece, remove the red or color insert to get to the screw.

I purchased this in brushed nickel but the drain stopper is chrome. Is it supposed to match ?
Probably not. It would require a different pipe fixture and stopper.
