Have to somehow switched the hot and cold taps? Is the hot tap not acting up too?
Just the direction it was installed, I suspect you have fixed this by now. Simply loosen and turn the other way, I installed mine that way the first time as well. When installing, simply ensure handle is fully counter clockwise and then install with blue dot facing to the right. Then the handles turn on pulling toward front of sink and off pushed back.
The faucet valve and handle assembly is loose and has been turned too far clockwise. Look under the sink and loosen the two philips screws holing the brass nut. Rotate the handle counter clockwise to the normal position. Tighten the brass nut to where the two screws can be easily accessed, then tighten the two screws just enough to ensure the assembly will not rotate when the water is turned on. Tightening too much may break the hardware.
Whoever installed the faucet should be able to answer that question. (It doesn't sound like it was installed properly.)
Turn the water off to the cold valve. Remove the blue cover over the set screw that holds the handle on. Loosen the set screw enough to lift the handle off taking care not to loose the small screw. Loosen and remove the bonnet nut to remove the cartridge. Check the internal space to make sure there is no foreign material that can cause leaks. Install a new cold cartridge, reinstall the bonnet nut. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Install the handle, tighten the set screw, and reinstall the blue screw cover. Done!
Thank you. That model has a Limited Lifetime Warranty so simply call the Customer Care Center at 1-877-527-0313 and they would be glad to send you out a new cartridge and provide instructions on how to change it out.
The Delta Windmeere Collection brushed nickel was a good match - it is what we bought our accessories in. But ultimately the only way you can tell is to go into the store and eyeball it directly. Judging colors and textures on-line is very risky.
Thank you. The photos on the website can appear a little different but any Brushed Nickel accessories will work with that faucet.
Thank you. The 4" in. and 8" in. spread is the standard but If the faucet comes with flexible handle to spout connection hoses like this model does, it does not need to be exactly 8 in.
No, the "Y" connecting hose (black hose in the picture) under the sink will spread farther apart or closer to conform to your hole spacing.
The only issue you have moving them farther apart is the quick connects from hot and cold to middle do not reach very far.
thank you. You will need a 2.5 metric Allen Wrench for that screw.
The handle is held on with a small allen wrench. Use a small knife blade to remove the red or blue cover button. Insert the allen wrench into the hole and turn the set screw clockwise to tighten. Replace the red/blue cover button.
