Does this unit have it's own self contained alarm so it does NOT need to be hooked up to a household system? Want to go off like a simple fire alarm.

I just want to place it in a room and have it detect broken glass and set off it's own alarm off similar to standalone smoke detector. Do not want to attach to overall big home security system
Asked by: JC
no, it needs the tattletale base unit.

Does this alarm have a decibel rating? Or does it need to be linked to a central alarm system with a separate siren?
