ArmorGuard EDGE Clips offer superior strength and holding power thanks to their Stainless Steel screw and gusset, the 2-1/4 in. x #7 screw buries down deeply into the joist while the gusset fits into the groove of the board, securing it down when the screw is fastened. In an independent test, ArmorGuard EDGE Clips were up to 88% stronger than other clips in reducing lateral movement, which will give you confidence in the longevity of the install.
