Christmas morning. The tree is lit, you just drank your morning coffee, and in a few minutes everyone else will wake up with the special joy that Christmas brings every year. But wait. Let's rewind and share how we got here! There is so much prep that goes into Christmas and we are here to walk you through it!
We all love organization hacks and why should the holidays miss out on storage solutions? No more tossing ornaments every which way. No more throwing wrapping paper in a closet and scrambling when you need it. The Home Depot's holiday storage options were a gift to myself this year. I love the ornament holder that is stackable and lightweight. The wrapping paper holder has a storage compartment up top to hold scissors, ribbon, and tape so that when it's to wrap gifts you are truly prepared, and my new tree bag? It has wheels so even I can lug it back into its seasonal home until next Christmas.
This year I purchased a 7.5 ft Jackson Noble Pre-Lit Christmas Tree, and as a longtime fan of real trees, I have been converted! This tree came in 3 pieces and took all of 3 minutes to put together. The lights are perfectly spaced and my tree has fooled everyone who has seen it into thinking it was a real live tree! The best part of my new tree will be the cleanup… No filling my vacuum with pine needles this year! I put my tree together so quickly, I was left with time to log in and start gift shopping!
Would you believe it if I said I was successfully able to buy gifts for the whole family at Homedepot.com? If not, you should! The Home Depot has everything anyone can need from new tools to new kitchen appliances, to even toys for the kids! You heard right, they have toys online! Being able to shop online for everyone's gift also helps eliminate the “will this fit in my car struggle”. If you know, you know LOL.
This year, I decided to do something special and decorate my best friend's porch for the holidays! As a flight attendant, her schedule can be super hectic during the last few months of the year, leaving her little free time. I decided decorating her porch would be an AWESOME way to welcome her home! I found the cutest matching
Montclair Spruce Trees to set around the door and this doormat fits here perfectly! Paired with the coziest pillows, her porch has never looked so welcoming!
After coming home to her surprise porch makeover, she returned the favor bringing me my own Christmas front porch in a box! I got similar matching trees for each side of my front door, a holiday mat, and beautiful crimson pillows for my bench.
