Hello everyone! Every year during the spring season, we head over to our local Home Depot to look for a few tools that will help us with our spring cleaning. This year we want to tackle all the dirt and grime that accumulated on our patio over the past winter.
Already equipped with our handy Home Depot bucket, latex bath gloves, and splash goggles, one of the helpful tools that we picked up for our project was the Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless Telescoping Power Scrubber. This tool is compatible with RYOBI's triangle connection brush accessories and is also compatible with any of the Ryobi One+ 18V batteries! With this easy-to-use cordless scrubber, we were able to clean the outside of our home and sunroom’s vinyl siding and reach high areas. The power scrubber is water resistant and is easy to use with soap and water. The interchangeable brush heads also allowed us to clean our windows with a soft bristle brush.
We also picked up a few bottles of The Pink Stuff to use with our scrubber on a few pieces of our outdoor furniture. This cream cleaner was great for removing tough stains and dirt and bringing back a shine to our outdoor metal table. It is a natural cleaner that works and smells great!
We also decided to get the handheld version of the Ryobi One+ 18V Power Scrubber since it would be better suited for smaller and more detailed applications. When used with the Pink Stuff, the dirt and grime easiy washed away from our outdoor plastic ottomans.
Lastly, we brought home the Ryobi 2000 PSI 1.2 GPM Cold Water Corded Electric Pressure Washer to use on our patio paver and concrete landing. This was a powerful way to clean those stubborn stains, especially in hard to reach cracks and crevice's, and it made the overall job so quick and easy.
Here’s the before, and here’s the after! My family and I cannot wait to spend lots of time out here this spring.
I hope this encourages you by seeing how easy it can be to freshen up an outdoor area, especially if you are a homeowner with limited time and space like me. With just a little time and a few helpful products from The Home Depot, our patio is cleaned and ready to be enjoyed! It is amazing how much a simple cleaning job can make an area of your home look so much better. Thanks so much for visiting the blog today. Let us know what you think!
