ZMAX galvanized steel provides medium-level corrosion resistance and should be used in exterior projects such as decks, pergolas, fences and other applications where connectors and fasteners may be exposed to water. Products with a powder-coat finish over a ZMAX base, have the same level of corrosion resistance.
