Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of the Garage Storage Sale?

Home Depot Garage Storage Savings are here, so it's time to get shopping. From garage storage bundles to storage bins, we've got bargains on what you need for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd through August 18th, and make this the summer you organize the basement, garage, and shed.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a wooden spaceship toy is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 8/1/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.

Does the Auburn Hills Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?
