Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a patio furniture sale for Father's Day?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at our big Father's Day Sale, and get amazing deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th through June 24th only, so don't miss them.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is set for relentless summer heat by repairing faulty components of your home. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on the 4th of July. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
