Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is patio furniture on sale for Father's Day?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run online and in-store from June 4th to 24th, 2026, only, so shop fast.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in July?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on the Fourth of July. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart toy. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
