Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?
Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry small moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 6/6/26, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a goalie game! Your little builder can put together their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
