Does The Home Depot have good deals for Memorial Day?
The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on outdoor power equipment, tools, refrigerators, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Save big by shopping the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.
How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Make certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What will the next free Kids Workshop be?
Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6th. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this pint-sized soccer field. Constructing this tiny soccer game, reminiscent of the full-size tables, is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
