Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale in 2026?

Prepare for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on refrigerators and washers, outdoor living accessories like patio furniture, outdoor cooking supplies, and grills, plus tools for all your home improvement projects. Save up to 40% off select online bathroom items and select appliances. Check it out in-store or online from May 14th to 27th.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on June 6, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. Constructing this tiny soccer game, reminiscent of the full-size tables, is a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
