Your local hardware store has everything you need to prepare for the summer sun and storms. We're your one-stop shop for everything from windows, front doors, and roofing, to gutters, weather stripping, and pest control to keep weather and bugs out of your home. Find what you need stocked on the shelves at your local Abilene Home Depot or skip the trip to the store with our fast, free delivery. You can also explore our Home Depot product locator app, which displays a store map, the aisle location, and current inventory for the items you're looking for. Use the app to start any returns you have, too.
At The Home Depot, we value getting involved in our local community. We support the Dyess We Care Team, numerous clubs and many different local nonprofits.
We're located south of the US-277 and US-84 split, next to Walmart. We look forward to seeing you in our aisles soon. You can also browse our local ad before you stop by to find great in-store deals.
Sincerely,
Your Abilene Home Depot Store Team
Is there a patio furniture sale for Father's Day?
Start shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents you'll need to make his day.
How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Make certain your home is ready for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?
Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the Fourth of July. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
