Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a patio furniture sale for Father's Day?

Start shopping for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on garage storage, generators, riding mowers, outdoor power equipment, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he can't wait to receive.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be certain your home is equipped for summer temps by repairing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your house, examine metal roofing or roof shingles for damage or rust that could let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on July 4th. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to sharpen creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
