Can I get Express Delivery through my store?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies directly from your store to your front door. Make sure your order is placed by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on local stock, item size, and driver availability. Set your local store in The Home Depot app or online to see if it's available. Qualifying items show an Express Delivery tag in your cart and at checkout (excludes bulk orders, custom mixed paint, and aerosols). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Be certain your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you offer moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
