Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From garage shelving to garage bundles, we've got bargains on what you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the year you finally organize the garage and basement.

Does the Danville Home Depot have back-to-school products for classrooms?

When you've gotten your classroom decorations at the educator store and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like disinfecting wipes to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Command hooks and writing utensils? Check. Glue guns and hot glue sticks to match? We have those, too. Find storage containers to keep it all organized, cleaning products, and more tissues and paper towels than you think you'll need. We support our educators, so drop by to fill in the classroom supply gaps.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Make certain your home is set for summertime heat by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is launching the rocket, so leave some time to send your rocketship into space!

Bath cabinets are garbage! Throwing mine way!
Home Depot Danville refused to allow return of a bath cabinet which let water into the fake wood mess through faulty seams. That’s $549 thrown away. It’s a bath cabinet. It’s literal ONE job is to survive in a bathroom with daily water exposure. Big FAIL.

      Excellent Employees
Two weeks ago I purchased an early Christmas gift for the youngest members of my family. The weather this fall has been especially nice, warm and dry, so a trampoline is a great addition to the yard. Home Depot has a great selection of trampolines!

Great place to shop, but doesn’t always have what I need.
This store is well maintained and the people are friendly and helpful but often the problem is that they simply don’t have what I need. That’s the ONLY reason I ever shop elsewhere. Wish they had the room to stock more products.

              Unhappy customer
The people at the return area were anything but helpful or friendly. They looked at me as if I wasn’t there. If there was another store having what I needed I would go there.
