Store employees didn't ask me if I needed help. I had to find someone on my own to point me in the right direction. Cashier was rude and refused to bag my purchase.

Need general manager available, mgr Derron not harras customers in front of the customers.Need more customer satisfation.

The management and personnel like Janelle at the Bloomfield, CT Home Depot go above and beyond for the customer and I will travel the extra distance because of their excellent customer service and treatment.

Great customer service

I went in to the store on Wednesday my day off with about 9 paint swatches that were painstakenly picked out to pull together painting our new house's interior. When I approached the paint counter it was busy. and the guy said it would be awhile. I told him that he could keep my paint swatches, and I would be back later that day or the next morning since I was not in a rush and didn't need them right away. Foolishly I did not write down the paint colors I had picked out. I also didn't realize there is a store policy not to mix paint if a customer is not going to stay in the store which I was made aware of the next day. I was unable to return that evening because of a meeting running over at night, so I went in first thing the next morning to collect my paint, but sadly upon looking was told that my paint samples and swatches must have been thrown out, because I did not make it back in the night before. To say the least I was upset and more mad at myself than anything, but wish I was told the policy prior and was astonished wasn't even given 24 hours. The guy at the counter though took my number to make sure he couldn't find anything and did call me an hour later to tell me what happened. He was very sorry and thankfully I was able to make it in today and figure out most of the colors I had picked out, and they were able to be mixed right then. The same guy had been there Wednesday, Thursday and today, and I was very appreciative of his help and attitude and care.

The store is great, there is only one employee that I've had several conversations with about my Military discount. Yes, at the 55 Grandby Street Bloomfield, CT 06002 I have an issue with the checkout cashier by the Pro-Desk, because for months I was told that I couldn't use Military discount. One particular day there was a different employee at the cashier station who remembered me from the other register for using my Military discount and asked was I using it today? I told her what the other normal cashier had told me and she told me that was not true and put my Military discount in for my purchase.

I checked the website for a specific product and saw there was 15 in stock at aisle 13, bay 014. When I arrived and started to search, the items were not there....they were misplaced. An employee named Leroy approached me and asked how he could assist me. We searched high and low together and still could not find it. He asked me to wait while he searched other areas. I looked around while he was gone. A minute later he searched me out and had the item in his hand. Without his diligence, I wouldnt have the part I needed. Leroy went above and beyond. I will look for Leroy in the near future!

very bad rental services

The associate Heather in the custom blinds area was extremely helpful. She made the ease of ordering my custom pleated shades very easy and with her vast knowledge of the products within the Home Depot store, I was able to leave the store after my purchase, satisfied to the max. Heather is an extremely great asset to Home Depot....Keep up the great work Heather!

Super friendly staff and great customer service.

Most Home Depot stores are well stocked with the items that I as a homeowner require. The Bloomfield store has an additional feature that takes me back to the old style hardware store and that is the presence of Henry that I knew from his previous employment in a local hardware store. It is like seeing family!

The staff here is really helpful. You are greeted when you come through the door. Any staff around the store will ask if you need help finding what you need and if it's not their area will get you to the person who can help. It is much cleaner than it used to be also. If you do self checkout a staff person is there to help and if you go to the regular lines and a cashier is free she will call you over, wand your items without making you take them out of the cart, and you can get help Tsing heavy things to the car.

I've been coming to this store since we moved to the area almost 10 years ago. The customer service at this store is spectacular, each and every employee greets you, asks you if you need help, provides tips and advice, etc. We've been taking our kids to the kids workshops on Saturdays for the last several years and we're treated like family each and every time. The employees who run the workshop each month know our kids by name and are absolutely wonderful to them every single time. It is a nice feeling walking into a store you frequent at least once a week if not more (especially in the middle of a project) and feeling like your walking into you a relatives house.

Had a great experience at the Bloomfield Home Depot. There are plenty of knowledgeable workers there to help me find what I needed, helped me choose which products that best suited my project and color choices then cashed me out efficiently with a smile. Home Depot has that hometown feel and sense of caring about their customers.

With being new to the community, my spouse and I already feel at home upon entering this Home Depot location!!
