Always hated having to go to home repair stores to buy stuff, since usually its a nightmare. Im usually mad going in because, well.........somethings broke! Well, today a cashier made my day much more pleasant. Was so helpful, and boy o boy she knew her stuff! Unlike another home improvement store where youd be lucky to find a worker that knows the difference between a nail and a screw! Thanks Calumet City home depot........you just received a customer for life!

This is the store I always shop at. The faces of Some of the associates are familiar to me. They are always helpful and friendly!

I came in looking for a certain item and the store associate knew exactly what I was looking for and because of her expertise, I was able to make another purchase that I needed. She made my day. I don't remember her name but I know it started with a "K" and she worked in the lawn and garden department. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out.

I purchase most things I need for home improvement here. They usually have what I want. I wish the garden section had more flower variety. I was looking for yellow Trumpet Vine and Canna Firebirds ALONE and not part of a mix. Also, I appreciate the effort they make to find contractors for you. The contractors I was referred to in a previous visit never followed up with me but that's not Home Depot's fault. Sales associates in the store were knowledgeable, polite but slow to respond when prompted. I will continue to shop this location.

Customer service was excellent. Love this store. I received a lot of help for the staff. I did not know what I need for the job., am glad that the men in the store took the time to help me.

Looking for driveway patch, not only did the store person walk with me to the area, he was very knowledgeable of what patch to use for my problem

As I entered the electrical department there were two employees conversing. I requested the assistance of one of the employees, and the gentleman that adamently accepted the responsibility identified himself as a greeter. Sorry I didn't get greeters name but he's a terrific guy. He not only took me to the department but selected the item for me that I was searching, and made certain I was satisfied with the product. Talk about OUTSTANDING service and checkout was immediate no lines no waiting. Other Locations need follow suite.

My contractor and I got the help we needed. My contractor had some questions and received accurate assistance promptly. I pushed the cart and paid the bill. Hours later my project was complete without any problems; not even a second trip for supplies.
