Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including mulch, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're ready to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 23rd through May 10th, so remember to shop before it ends.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
