No help available on this long weekend, stuff in check out area, workers complaining about no overtime and then comment I will be right back I have to go to the restroom, never returned , all around bad shopping day. I have shopped at this Store for several years and have purchased enough material for several business and home repairs. The last few times i have been at this store we are on our own to load, unload and find what we need. Makes me wander if we need to check out the others in Garden

associate was very helpful and a pleasure to work with.

For me it was not a good experience, but overall Home Depot is a good place to buy Home Improvement materials.

We ordered quartz countertops and the associates were very helpful.

The appliance sales lady was most helpful when I bought my new washer and dryer over the phone. My only complaint was that there was not more of a break on the price of the 2 appliances I purchased. The $50 off of the 2 was not enough off. And the washer came damaged so reordered. So, instead of waiting 2 wks. For my order, I am waiting 3 wks. and a day.

The store was less cluttered than normal. I was getting help from an associate when my son asked to get out of the cart and stood up. He had only been standing for a second before the associate yelled at me to not let him stand in the cart. This has happened on several previous occasions. We have also had associates be frustrated when asking for help. They don't want to be bothered. I've also overheard associates talking loudly to each other complaining about customers. Overall it doesn't create a welcoming environment for shopping and asking for assistance. I now am hyper vigilant about getting yelled at here, but even when I try to respond quickly to avoid this, it still happens. While we have had a few positive interactions with employees here, the negatives occur far more frequently. I have never had this experience at other Home Depot locations. I would not recommend shopping at the Garden City Home Depot especially if you have younger children. I hope I don't have to shop here again and can find everything I need elsewhere in a friendlier less stressful environment.

Store is very well put together easy to read all signs.

I was in a hurry and needed to find several items throughout the store. Several associates either stopped and asked me if I needed help or were readily available to help me. The overall trip took less time than I had anticipated thanks to the availability of knowledgable associates and the quick, friendly checkout.

I went to the Garden City, Kansas, store to purchase a new lawn mower. I did research online and had a model I wanted to look at. The store did not have the model I wanted to look at. However, they had a comparable and lower priced mower. I was impressed with the mower and decided to buy it. I was disappointed to find out that particular model had been discontinued and the only one available was the display model. The store associate who helped me answered all of my questions and took the mower down from the shelf for me to view more closely. I was able to purchase the display model at a discount. I left the store as a very satisfied customer. Thank you, Home Depot!!!

I needed assistance finding adhesive to fasten down my subfloor. A very kind check out person directed me to the paint department where I found liquid nails.Just what I needed.

We waited a while for help the first time my husband asked for help,so he asked again .A young lady came about five minutes later.she was real nice and helpful .At the checkout two associate helped us very nice and caring.Thank you for all they did for us .we always go back for all needs to fix our house! We have been at that home depot in Garden City for years and we like it very well! We live in Dodge City my husband and I make a day of it and shop for our home.We have had all good experiences since the store opened .we will be back soon!

The availability of store associates has greatly improved in this store. Brianna at the self check out lines is awesome!

I have required the assistance of most ever department in Home Depot. The Associates are always friendly and very helpful. If they don't have the answer to your question they will find another associate who can get you whatever information you need. They are always willing to help in any way they can. The store is clean and comfortable to shop in. If you can't find what you need someone will be glad to help you look on line to see if it can be ordered for you. It is my number one place to shop for all my building, construction and repair items. Usually one stop at Home Depot will take care of all my needs for any project.

It's easy to find helpful associates something that was lacking in the past.

We were shopping for flowers and mulch the first day . The associates were so helpful in both loading onto the flat bed and also loading everything into our car. The second day we went to buy a lawnmower and again there was an associate that helped us select the right mower for us and get it loaded onto the flat bed. When we checked out their were two associates that helped my huspand get the mower to the car and the box was to big to fit, so they cut it open and took the mower out and kindly loaded it into the car. They made sure we had all the parts and instructions. The nicest part was that they all had a smile on their face and enjoyed helping us. I would like to give a shout out to Ryan and Herman from this store they were so helpful and kind to us. I'm sorry I do not know the names of the other three associates, but they too had the same kind of attitude and helpfulness. Ryan was very helpful in the garden center with mulch, and I was not feeling well and he quickly brought me and my husband a bottle of water. Herman was so nice to load all of our mulch and flowers into our car making sure that all of the flowers were secure for the ride home.

We bought windows that had to be specially ordered. There was a comfortable place to sit while we discussed our options and the associate was so helpful and friendly! He listed to what we wanted and offered us advise and options for our home.

The store was very cluttered, we were pretty much ignored until we finally asked for a manager for assistance. We called ahead for a paio set to make sure it was in stock, we were told it was and it was not. We did however get another seating set at a good price from management.

The service that I recieved was very fast and polite!

Bionca did an amazing job helping us color match a ten year old paint from a competitors store. She did it within 20 minutes where the competitor had been given 4 hours to color match and provide! Thank you Home Depot for realizing we needed to get the project done..not wait!

Walked in and asked for someone knowledgeable in the lumber department to assist me.Someone assisted very quickly. He was helpful in knowing what I would need for the project at hand. He helped to load the wood materials on a cart and helped thru the checkout area and stayed with the cart while I got the trailer to the loading area. He then helped to load the wood into the trailer. This was the best and easiest shopping experience I've had at Home Depot. Keep up the Good Work!

The glass on my French doors shattered. I had not saved the paperwork when I bought them in 2012,. the employees both named Johnny helped me find the records of the doors and finding the replacement glass for them
