the help is very helpful and the store usually has what I need / want, they are knowledgable in most areas. its average in cleanliness beyond normal wear and tear. and the people are ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY a value of 10

The salespeople are always friendly and very helpful when tackling a project They will help you get everything you need and give tips on how to accomplish it!

Help was immediately available. Staff very nice and friendly. This is the first time I visited this store and would definitely return to this store for future purchases.

If I could give this location more then the 5 stars allowed to give I would! The employees at this location are always very happy, cheery, helpful and friendly! You walk throughout the store and pass an employee they always greet you with a smile and ask if you need assistance! I hear them not only greet me, I hear them greeting and helping other customers throughout the store. I shop Home Depot often and never have had a single negative thing happen to me ever in this location! I have used Home Depot.com store pick up numerous times also and the item is always ready for pick up quickly! Your competitor down the street when I have gone there? Aren't friendly at all, they greet no one, when I needed help finding something I could never find someone to help me, when I did find someone, it was as if I was bothering them! They are over priced and nasty! Allison Tucci should be commended for a job well done, if she wasn't good to her employees under her, the employees in the store wouldn't be as happy as they are. It takes a good leader to keep employees happy! Keep up the good work Home Depot! You guys are the best!!

Store was clean. Flowers & plants watered & looking healthy. C.S. was available & helpful. This is hard to find at most stores.

Had an issue with Behr stain that the Toms River store assured me was not a problem. Not true. When we dragged that 5 gallon container to the store we were told otherwise. Either they were unsure just how their tinting technology was to be applied or they were unwilling to take the time to do it. Either way, we felt disappointed and frustrated. But, we took our task to Lakewood HD and the results and experience was completely opposite. Their paint desk was simply awesome. Debbie and Eric (i think) were just overly helpful and Debbie was singularly dedicated to resolving our issue. She persevered where others would have surrendered and we couldn't be happier with the results. I use several HD stores and if this experience is reflective of how this store perceives customer service across the board then this should be their model for all stores going forward. I've been grousing about shortcomings so this is a very welcome and refreshing experience.

Something has definitely changed for the better at this store in Lakewood. Friendly and helpful employees make this kind of shopping experience a pleasure not a chore.
