Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals available at The Home Depot?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for setting up appliances indoors, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and organizing your home with new storage. Remember to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23 through 5/10. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet keepsake box that fits all sorts of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
