Your local hardware store has everything you need to get your yard, home, and car ready for the winter. We are your trusted source for log splitters, ice melt, space heaters, ice scrapers, and other must-have, cold-weather essentials that keep you prepared and protected this winter. Find what you need at your local Kentwood Home Depot or skip the trip to the store with our fast, free delivery. Find — or return — the right product using our Home Depot product locator app. It displays a store map so you can ensure the product is in stock and know exactly where to find it. You can even use the barcode lookup to find detailed information on every item we carry.

At The Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. We support the Children's Healing Center and multiple veterans' projects throughout the Grand Rapids area.

You can find us southwest of the intersection of M-11 and I-96, between Sam's Club and Costco. Our team looks forward to seeing you in our aisles. Remember to check our local ad before you visit to find great in-store deals.

Your Kentwood Home Depot Store Team

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that might let water seep in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

Do you have moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
