Can I rent a van?

How long can I rent a truck?
Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the provided documentation before choosing a vehicle.
Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
