Our cashier, Melissa, was very nice. She noticed the line was building up so she opened a new one. Also there was an associate in garden (didn't catch her name) who helped us find the Roundup refill we needed. Altogether a wonderful shopping experience.

Only needed one piece of a large size lumber that was in stock and of high quality. Prefer to have people check us out as opposed to machines that don't create customer loyalty.

We needed a new propane tank for our grill. Had never had to exchange one before, was not quite sure what to do. They have a cage out front with about 50 tanks in it. So we went in and talked to the cashier, we just paid and the receipt has a redemption code. You just go back outside, use the kiosk screen to put in your code and a door eventually unlocks on one of the tanks, and you take it out and put your old one in. Pretty simple!!

I had researched the products I desired to buy and was about to opt for free shipping to my home when I decided to see if the products were available at my Local Store (20 miles away). The web said #10 were available so I drove over to buy #2. I did not see more than #3 on the shelves, but grabbed what I wanted and, including self check-out time, my entire time in the store was under 15 minutes!

I am a military veteran with an armed forces marking on my state of Ohio license yet this is not considered proof enough by Home Depot that I served my country.

The entire staff is very helpful, friendly, and approachable. They are always ready to help and you seldom have to ask for help as they some right up and ask. The selection is great and we are able to find what we need and want. The best part is the helpfulness of the staff. They are very willing to explain the "how to's" of a project and their comments are very accurate.

Very happy with the paint department. Clerk was very helpful.

Enclosing a summer porch into an all season porch, had many questions about the various windows and door available. Barney and Richey were extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about the products we had questions about. Because of their helpfulness we ended up getting a sliding glass door to replace the one we had. Great experience.

Help was a little hard to find but it was the 4th of July.

I am in this store at least once a month and it is always my primary place for all home needs.

This Store is very friendly and always have been greeted with a Hello and asking if we need help finding anything. There is always a friendly smile that greets you in every department as we travel through the store!! Thanks Newark Home Depot for being so kind and friendly every time we walk through those doors!!

Asked Sunday about not being able to find mulch that I had purchased from Home Depot for years. Received a call from Justin same day I submitted my inquiry. Justin explained that mulch was no longer an active inventory item, but they still had some around. Monday (today) I picked up 25 bags of the mulch and received outstanding help in locating and loading the mulch. The outstanding associates are why Home Depot is our supplier of choice. Marcia was super helpful in locating the people I needed. Great store. Great people. Thank you.

We had such a pleasant experience in the store. The associates were very helpful in assisting us in ordering new doors. We cannot wait to get them installed!

From the time I walked into the contractor checkout area and mentioned to Wendy that I would like to open a contractor account that my workers could pick up needed materials and charge the items to the account, the wheels were set into motion. In a very short period of time I had the account open and the tools necessary to do exactly what I needed and wanted. After that each visit by me or my workers was easy, simple and made pleasant by all the contractor checkout associates, especially Lydia and Linda.,. My new Home Depot ball cap is off to all those at the Newark facility. A lot more than just a store to purchase materials, paint, carpet, tools, and more.

I had employees seek me out to ask if I needed help. They were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to help me find the answers to my questions and help me make the best decisions for the items I was seeking to purchase. I would highly recommend this store.

We needed a part for a new grill which we bought at Home Depot. The manager and associate were more than helpful, trying to help me find it. Now they are on a greater search.

The store is always clean. I got help at the paint desk and the garden dept. Both departments took very good care of me. The stepping stones part of it was a little wonky but they got me all straightened out and taken care of.

Always a pleasure able visit. Associates are always very helpful and friendly. Especially associate Dwayne!!

The associate that assisted me in the paint dept was wonderful. He assisted with a color choice and provided some insight I didn't even think about. The paint is now on the wall and I am extremely satisfied.
