Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Spring Black Friday sale?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is better than ever. Save big on home decor and bath goods, including bathroom vanities. Proper storage and organization gives you spring cleaning freshness all year, and a new ceiling fan keeps air moving in your home as temps rise. Now is the time to start DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. You can embrace energy-efficient living with updated appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so don't miss it.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
