When it's time to leap into a big DIY project, you might not have everything you need to get the job done. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Quincy Tool and Truck Rental Center.
Tool Rental
Start your next DIY project with confidence and the right tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Quincy Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the tools you don't have on hand. You can rent what you need and bring them back when you're done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, we have used tools available for purchase. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.
Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to maintain your yard. Fall will be here in no time, so have a leaf blower ready. It's far less work than raking them into piles. It's also great to use on concrete sidewalks, driveways, and hardscaping surfaces. You can rent one of our handheld, backpack, or walk-behind leaf blowers.
Generators
Whether you're working in a remote location or running a large welding machine, you'll likely need to rent a generator. Generators also keep basic electrical appliances running when there's a power outage. Make life easier during fieldwork or after extreme weather knocks out your power.
Heaters
There's nothing better than a comfortable room, so browse our heater rentals. Portable heaters keep barns, outdoor events, or workspaces warm. They're safer than torch patio heaters because they don't have an open flame, and they also blow the hot air for more coverage. We offer gas, propane, and electric heaters in a range of sizes. Pair this with good outdoor lighting, and you can extend work or play later into the evening hours.
Truck Rental
To make it easier to transport large tool rentals, we keep pickup trucks as well as Penske moving trucks ready for rental, with availability varying by store. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for packing, storage needs, and DIY projects, it's easy to make us your go-to source for moving and transport as well.

How do I rent a tool or a truck?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your local store. For more information on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool for a week?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I need to return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you might get lucky and receive an excellent blade on the saw. Since there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
