Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, setting up appliances indoors, and doing lawn and garden work outdoors. Be sure to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs only from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
