Every employee encounter was friendly

We have returned to the store multiple times and each time, the employees were so busy, yet took plenty of time to help us and were most pleasant and friendly. NOT a single person was short with us or rushed us in any way. Most helpful, friendly and if they couldn't help us directly, actually walked us to the next person who could.

Thank you, Mr. Mike Lee, for taking the time to answer our questions to find the correct shade and then cutting the shades for us. Much appreciated!

I am a small business owner just starting out in this tough economy. I was recently in shopping for a great deal of tools for my business. After a lot of research and reviews I settled on Milwaukee tools and purchased a great deal of them. Everyone was so helpful and informative on what I should get. They showed me all the ways I could save money and I left the store with more than I anticipated purchasing for way less than I planned on spending. Thank you for always asking if you can help find something. It's completely frustrating to be completely ignored like your competitors do this is why I will be a Home Depot patron for life!

Rochester has the best greeter!!! Always in a great mood, always smiles and makes you feel welcome. All employees in the store are helpful.

Sign in store said 12 month 0% financing on purchases of $299 or more. Bought over $300 dollars worth of merchandise, checked out with my Home Depot card, only to be told after the transaction that it may only be 6 months of 0% financing. They told me to call the financing department and haggle it out with them. Way to run a business! Lure them in with an offer, then change it afterwards! If 12 month offer is not validated, I will be returning everything and shop elsewhere. Not the only place in town!

I went to buy some LP smartside trim today. As I was pulling the pieces down off the rack there were several that had obvious damage to them that would not have worked for my project. I'm sure they were damaged before they were put in the rack for sale. I would suggest making sure not to do that as it creates a buyer-beware purchasing experience.

Employees at the self checkout lanes often act as if I’m attempting to steal something and often appear disappointed when they observe me paying for my merchandise. It’s like “oh, he’s going to steal” and then they are shocked when I don’t.

I purchased carpet. Everyone worked well as a team to get the necessary steps done to get this accomplished. Well done!

I always enjoy going to the Rochester Home Depot, the door greeter always makes me smile with his jokes and excitement and Brenda specifically goes above and beyond every time I am there (weekly) to make sure I have what I need for what I am working on and that I had a good experience.

Marc Z helped me by redrilling a towel holder's set screw insert. And made sure to send me home with the right set screw.

We had wonderful customer service with Brenda, the sales associate that assisted us with our purchase, and Huda the cashier. They were so helpful and kind. It is so refreshing to be approached by an employee and asked if they can help me find what it is I’m shopping for (rather than searching for someone to help me and then instead of showing me where the item is, they will tell me what aisle it’s in, which is annoying as several times the product is not where it is supposed to be). I will definitely be returning to this store!

Carpet and 1/2 inch pad are so soft and beautiful. Better than my expectations. From the time I found carpet, ordered and had installed, the entire process was smooth and done ahead of schedule. Everyone did a great job. A+

I had an older gentleman (Store Associate) ask if I needed help almost as soon as I arrived in the tool department. When I told him... Yes, I could use some help... he was more than happy to answer my question, offer suggestions and showed me where the different tools were that I was looking for. I had contact with several associates and every single one of them were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. This can be challenging in these demanding times but I felt they all were over the top friendly and accommodating. Wow.

Every time I've gone into this store, someone has been willing to help me when I need it (and let me wander undisturbed when I don't), and have gone above and beyond trying to be helpful.
