by using app at/before every visit allows me to find exact isle location. I will also know availability of item so I go to correct store for my supplies. especially now with Covid epidemic and employment difficulties.

Will in plumbing was happy to help very knowledgeable and professional I will be back just on my encounter with him alone / Chris in Lumber helped happily as well as made multiple cuts for me

Love how close this store is to home. The employees here are super nice and helpful. Would like to see more attention to getting inventory on the shelf.

The paint department associate was very friendly and listen to me without interruption and recommended a product right away. I was extremely please with the purchase and recommendation. AWESOME! CHECKOUT TIME: The first checkout lane had a light on so I could pay with cash. I waited, although no one seemed to notice so I walked past the other registers close enough to the exit to get an associates attention. I was informed the light does not go off. Right away, I thought how anyone working the register area could not think to come up with a simple idea to put up an ‘out of service’ sign. It made me think that the cashier working the area has less then a middle school education. INCONVENIENCE. There are not enough registers that except cash and card available for check out. Some products will not let you continue scanning items at checkout til someone comes to fix it or type in a birthdate. For instance, spray paint. INCONVENIENT AGAIN. I was informed, by the same middle schooler, that I can put all of my cash in at once to pay. That did not work either. It spit the bills out but one. So, as I have in the past, I put them in one at a time and it worked. I do not need employment at Home Depot but I am glad to help out the next customer or two in line as I did during the whole circus performance.

Really friendly and ACTUALLY HELPFUL employees.

I’m a 74 year old woman. I wanted to buy 18 16x16 step stones. They are heavy & I could get no one to help me. I loaded 8 step stones & planned to get the other 10 later. I checked out & asked the cashier to get someone to load them in my car. She called 3 times with no response. After 10 minutes she asked if I’d like to speak with a manager. When he arrived I explained my problem & said if I couldn’t get assistance I wanted to return the items. His response was, “go inside and do it”. No attempt to correct the situation. Home Depot has lost me as a customer.

There was an employee that was inconvenienced by one question I had and did not want to help then ignored me.

There was not enough stock out for a specific item we were looking for. An employee named Leo (whom was from another department & on his lunch break) graciously helped us out, found some additional stock so we could purchase our items. He Thanked us for shopping there & we Thanked him for helping us out so well...we also gave him a virtual hug (COVID).

Thanks Judy for being such an awesome employee. You truly make me feel like part of the Home Depot family when I'm there. Have a Merry Christmas guys thank you guys in the paint department also you're awesome John, you know you're awesome. I have a business account at Sherwin Williams and they can't do their own paint like they do can you repeat Department John thank you. Truly Merry Christmas guys.

It seems as if I should probably just post up at Southtown Home Depot. I don’t know how many trips I have made to and from there this year but definitely a frequent flyer. This team constantly delivers for me. The Assistant Manager, Devin is always willing to lend a hand to ensure customer satisfaction. I appreciate these people at STHD!

The Southtown store has some of the best paint department people of any HD store in St. Louis.

On three quick trips to this store, I encountered four, different employees wearing their masks incorrectly while assisting customers.

I am currently working on a complete remodel of a property and the team here has helped me greatly. First, Devin is one of the Assistant Managers and has been a great guide to assisting me throughout my process over the past few months. I started shortly after COVID-19 and in the final phases of putting things back together. With Devin's help along with Kevin in flooring (a very cool and knowledgeable USA Veteran), Mike and Katie (Flooring), Azariah in kitchen designs, Mrs. Alfreda and Mrs. Maureen (both cashiers), have all been amazing in assisting me throughout. I truly appreciate my neighborhood HD team. Shouts out to Assistant Manager Craig as well. Another standout is the Bher representative Will in the paint department. See these people if you can. It's a great team over there in totality but these people I have worked with and I know they are upstanding!!!!!

The store managers here are extremely nice and helpful. I have had several interactions with Devin, Assistant Manager and his professionalism is impeccable. He is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. I truly appreciate my neighborhood Home Depot and all the employees.

Despite being very busy on a Saturday with more than the usual number of customers, the staff were alert to customers, friendly and helpful - especially in the paint department.

This has been my HD since it was built in the 90’s. The management team is awesome and I enjoy my diy local big box store.

this store alway in good shape and the worker are very helpful, and the store is stock up.

This has been my HI DIY store for nearly 25 years now. I know one of the best and greatest additions to the management staff there is Devin Ross. A very kind and pleasing gentleman with a great listening ear and extremely helpful whenever I have encountered him around and about the store.

I wish this wasn't close. I despise this stores. Especially the lack of cashiers. I go elsewhere when possible.

We live in KC area. Called store to check on floor tile availability and ensure color lots as KC HD’s had limited inventory and color match issues with this SKU. Spoke with a Kevin who went above and beyond on the phone! He happily pulled down boxes from overhead bay, and even texted pictures to confirm. After a long drive, Mgr. Craig has tiles ready for us to check out! Both were so friendly and did everything they could to help us from a distance!

Went to buy a grill at south county location, they don’t have in stock and ordered one for me. After 4 days I called for status but cashier Kelly told me store is not getting any shipment for this item and like to refund. I disagree to refund and asked if any other store has it. She found that Southtown (Unprofessional manager’s) store has few and called Southtown store to hold 1 for me. Kelly again asked me to return this one since I have to pay in Southtown store. I did agreed to return Kelly told we confirmed that item is same price in south town store(listen to recorded line if You think I am not telling truth). went to pick up and pay but price is double in that store( south county $59, online $99, Worse manager’s store (Southtown) $119), cashier called manager as per my request to come so that I can explain. But he refused to come and didn’t even talked to me on phone. I called south county store but Kelly was not available but someone verified the price with my order number. Still Southtown manager didn’t show up to meet me( almost 30 mins I was waiting,) south county store called them to verify price but still no help!! I was so mad and bought with full price again brought it to south county store, refunded and asked to check price, it’s $59 here. Then I explained cashier Marsha( very professional and need to go train Southtown manager how to speak or respect client) she explained why, apologized that someone told me it will be same price in Southtown store. I told her it’s not your fault, ignoring client is common in some employees( Southtown manager) not all. So, dear Home Depot customers, as Home Depot is Smart in manipulating price ( one store $59, another store 7.5 mile way is $119, online $99) buy from bad manager store or online whichever cheaper , return in the store it is cheaper and buy same time for 50% less. I know Home Depot will change their price after my this message!!! Who cares! As long as they don’t discriminate or manipulate price. I will call Monday to Missouri consumers protection/ FTC for discrimination and price manipulation, wasting my time and harassment .

I recommend this store with reservations. As a homeowner and gardener, I depend upon Home Depot primarily for household and gardening supplies, and various tools and hardware needed for simple home improvement projects. I generally find what I need, and the location is convenient for me. However, my most recent shopping experience revealed almost universal non-compliance with simple COVID-19 precautions by employees and customers alike. If I do shop at this store again, it will only be online with curbside pickup.
