Our sales associate that only helped us find the exact right product we were initially looking for, but kept with us through our entire shopping list even in other departments with extensive knowledge of all products.

The store was clean and the paint store associate was very helpful when he had time. He was busy and did the best he could , but it would have been helpful if more personel had been available for helping customers.

The fact that customers can bring in a dog is totally fine. But there should be a sign that dogs are allowed if carried or ON LEAD ONLY. I have witnessed dogs get in a scuff here before. That makes me feel very unsafe. You can't have control of your dog, by yelling at it alone.

Easy to find the products we were looking for. Associates were available to help if needed. We love shopping at this store!

Great experience, we had rain (something we have not had in months!) so a lot of sheet rock product was in the lumber isle, but associate helped me get my lumber. Check out was fast, friendly. Help loading was wonderful!

The Associate was eager to help me, When I needed more time to make a decision, The Associate was willing to return to help me when I was ready.

The folks at Home Depot seem to be very knowledgeable and friendly and that is so appreciated. I am bothered by the fact that they do not use local contractors for installations--they come from Portland and I don't believe that most folks in rural areas outside of Portland think this benefits our local people. I never realized this until today and now I understand even more the reluctance in having the big box stores built in our rural areas in the first place.

I went to the Home Depot in The Dalles on Friday afternoon, 4:14 pm 09/17/2015. The lady working the paint department, I apologize for not getting her name, was super helpful in matching paint colors for me, also the young lady working the Patio register was also so very nice. I go to the Home Depot every month to pick up supplies and I always have a great time. All of your employees are great. The interaction is always fun and just very helpful.

It is time for a new roof and we received excellent service from Sales Associate Eduardo who went beyond the normal service. He even called with a follow up call to let me know he would have the order ready to go once I could finalize the information he would require. Thank you Eduardo!

The sales associate, Kade was very helpful and courteous. I explained my "do it yourself" project and he found the right materials for me. He carried them to the cashier and then out to my car for me. I was quite impressed and thankful for his help.

Today we went to buy paint and Kim helped us. She was great, we will be going back because of her.

Each visit to Home Depot (The Dalles) over the last few years seems to keep getting better. Returns are easier than every, no waiting around. The consistency of the store layout and the lack of clutter is great. I have always felt honored to be able to use my Military Discount year round. PayPal is a great addition to Home Depot as well. Way better than using a credit card. I also think the reserved parking is a plus. More associates means it is easier to get help when you need it. I get asked at least two times per visit if I need help. The Self Check-out is working better too. Pricing is always competitive and I check prices using Home Depot Online. I can also put my order in online, and have it waiting for me at the checkout area. Really a nice feature. Upon checkout the cashiers always say, "Thank you for your service." You are welcome!

When shopping for almost anything (other than groceries) Home Depot is the first place I look. Love the store, the friendly associates, the prices and selection. Love the fact that I can find an item online and the description will tell me where to find it in the store. Love the fact that I can spend 20 minutes comparing items and not be shooed along by an associate but they re always nearby when I need one.

I searched the web site before I went into the store. The site tells you what aisle and bay where you can find the things you need and if its in stock. This helped alot and kept me from wandering around in circles searching for everything I needed. The employees are great! They were helpful and even fun to talk with. I got alot of help with the wood I purchased and everything went smooth. The employees are always super nice and I just love this store. I go to home depot about once a month and always look forward to it.

The store is well organized. The sales associates are very helpful and knowledgeable. Returns and exchanges are easy. The right product and tools for almost any DIY project are readily available.

I needed items that were not available at my local supplier, but the Pro Desk staff understood what I needed and were able to quickly get it written up. I needed to get information on a special order and one associate was able to quickly call his suppliers and find availability, lead time and prices

I've been in this store enough times that I can usually find the items I'm looking for without help, but when I need help, the employees are always friendly and helpful.

THE ASSOCIATE (MARI) STARTED THE CHECKOUT PROCESS FOR ME WHILE I WAS WORKING ON MY SECOND CART OF MERCHANDISE. THIS MADE THE FINAL CHECKOUT AMAZINGLY FAST! VERY NICE EXPERIENCE!

The Store had enough associates that I didn't have to hunt for one to help me, he was very friendly, and helpful. It is a very clean store even the restroom is clean !! Items are organized in a reasonable location to each other. The FROSTING on the cake is the Cashier Debra....She goes WAY above and beyond to help her customers...she made sure we got our discount AND deferred interest on our major purchase. The whole time she assisted us she was VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. Then when done the fellow who loaded for us was very conciencious and did a great job also was friendly, like he liked what he was doing,

Looking for a 5.0 CU Freezer, they were out of the one model but, Terry the asst. Manager provided us with one at a better quality and PRICE! then gave us an extra discount at the register. We did not waste a trip driving 60 miles and went back with even better then we ever expected or hoped for. I'm not going to waste time going to Portland or Vancouver, WA in future looking for better deal when you can get service like what Terri provided to us today. Excellence is help, value, and even went out to my truck and helped load it up in 90 degree mid-day sun. Go there again is exactly what we will do. My neighbor couldn't believe the DEAL we got today on that nice GE 5 CU Freezer. THANKS A MILLION HOME DEPOT.

We always love going to the Home Depot and enjoy talking to the friendly cashiers who have all kinds of ideas for projects. Margaret was our cashier on this trip and she was very friendly and helpful.
