HD has lost it home town feel
Went in the Villa Rica HD looking for some 15" garden fencing. Help could not be found in the fencing department. I did find one employee, but when I asked a fencing question, he said that It was not his department. He did try to look it up, but wasn't able to find what I was looking for. Customer Service pointed in the direction of the fence department, but offered no help beyond that. Very disappointed with this visit to HD

Tired of having to order online for store delivery.
Don't carry enough supply, can go somewhere else. Just not on the weekend. Gotta wait til Monday, so I'll go where I can pick it up and not wait

Comfortable store
The people here are always friendly, and they either have the answer or will find someone who knows. Possibly one of the few stores with experienced clerks who understand hands-on.

The Home Depot has changed a lot over the years
The Home Depot has changed a lot over the years. On one of the items that I really wanted , they had in stock for $199. I refused to buy it because I knew that at that price it was over inflated , I called my local plumbing supply store and they had the same idea for $89.00. Home Depot not only lost that sale but I purchased 75% of my plumbing items from the supply house instead. Customers are on to Home Depot’s sales tactics and more will follow. Good luck with your purchases from Home Depot.

Clueless
It was a nightmare trying to complete my order via my Home Depot Pro account. There was problems with the app, then via chat, I was able to start the order, then I tried to apply a $5 off coupon I earned. The chat person had to complete the order. Then I went to pick up my order using the proof of purchase. The checkout clerk indicated that I needed to go to the outside yard. The yard attendant said, no, my order was at the customer service desk. I get to the customer service desk, stood in line again. The customer service rep said, no, my order is to be filled by the outside yard attendant.
I spent almost the entire day, trying to place my order and then picking it up😡😡😡
Please have your sales people all attend the same training!
