Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including mulch, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with brand-new appliances, too. These incredible Spring Deals run from April 23rd through May 10th, so shop fast!

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your home. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing or shingles for damage that might let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
