Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals available at The Home Depot?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you want. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to hone fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
