Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event in 2026?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including grills, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you'll be prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on DIY projects and spring cleaning by taking advantage of low prices on tools and storage. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with brand-new appliances, too. These special Spring Deals run from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26, so don't miss it.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
