Are the casters necessary to complete the assembly? Looking for a stationary kitchen island in which I do not want wheels, wondering if I can just leave them off.
The casters are not needed for the stability of the cart. We suggest to put something under the legs to protect the flooring.
Nope, you do not have to add the casters. This is a very heavy unit and will serve nicely in a stationary position
Where is the wine rack? And what is the dimension of the interior space from bottom shelf to bottom of drawer?
Catskill Grand Work Center The wine rack is the bottom slotted rack. This Grand Work Center is high quality. I was blown away. The huge drawer is a bit over 8 inches deep.. The top butcher block overhang is about 2 and three quarters from the beginning of the drawer.
what are the top dimensions when the leaf is in the down position?
The top dimensions with drop leaf down are 36 in. wide by 24 in. deep.
