I made that mistake and it cost $40 for the hardware! I don't understand why they have this one in their system??? I was very bummed out they did nothing about it. total rip off for not shopping it better on their own web page.
Only the Shade sail. Hardware needs to be purchased in order to install it properly.
What color would you say this is? Is it a yellow shade or is it a tan shade- some of the descriptions of the colors of these shades dont match the pictures!
Sand colored, NOT even remotely yellow.

Does this coolhaven allow water to pass through such that it does need taken down at rainstorms?
We don't have a problem with snow and ice, but the material allows rain water to pass through and not collect, even in a heavy storm.
This is our second shade sail over the course of 10 or more years. The furniture underneath gets damp when it rains (and that may be due to wind) but we live in southern California so it is not so much a concern for us. If you just need shade I would highly recommend them. The only time we have taken them down is during very high winds. If it is installed taught/tightly they can withstand some significant winds (see spec sheet for details). The beauty of these is that they are so easy to take down and put up. And when they wear out you just purchase another!
Greetings, Coolhaven shades are made of porous material, and do allow rain to pass through them, but Coolaroo does recommend installing them with one side lower than the other to allow rain to run off of them, as pooling rain can stretch the fabric.
