I wouldn’t suggest using WD40 for that purpose because this product does not work like grease. It can easily be washed or dried out.
Hi, thanks for your question. WD-40 Multi-Use Product can be used to lube the chain of your chainsaw for a short time in place of bar oil. The formula is not intended for long term use in this purpose, however, and does not have the same qualities as bar oil -- which has anti-wear compounds that can keep your chainsaw from overheating. We always recommend checking with the product manufacturer for specific advice on maintenance and operation. Thanks for choosing WD-40 Brand Products.
I have used it to do that. It has to be left on there for a few minutes to soften the resin in wood, it did work for me. I am not certain that this is the proper way to use it but if it works why not.
Yes, BUT you will destroy the quality and makeup of the wood. Paint, stain and a protective cover will no longer work as described on its container documentation. I suggest using a Speed Out by Ontel that Home Depot sells.
I wouldn’t use it for that purpose as the wood may be affected.
Never tried it with wood
Absolutely Yes. Spray at the end of the screw and leave a good 15 mins to let it penetrate. Then undo the screw with a lot less effort.

WD-40 EZ Reach contains the same great "WD-40" formula and can be sprayed on anything WD-40 would be used on – hinges, locks, joints, metal surfaces, etc. The straw enables you to get it into tough-to reach areas.
The hose is flexible, so you can twist to get to hard pages. As long it's not hands exposed you can use to solved squeak, hard to turn and Rusty hinges, it won't remove rust, it will grease it to turn, depends on what you need it for
yes easy to control flex hose makes it easy to direct your spray.
, yes I can
Of course!
WD-40 can be used on storm shutter tracks.
Yes. Spraying WD-40 on metal tracks is a great way to lubricate, displace moisture and prevent them from rusting.
