Can i take the halogen bulbs out and install led bulb with same base?

Are there LED lights that are compatible with this unit? I have one and was very happy with the look of it. However, lights burnt out within a month. I replaced them only to have them burn out again, the second time accompanied with an electrical burning smell. I had an electrician out and he confirmed that the issue was in the unit. As long as we didn't use the lights, it was fine to use the fan. Now that we have completed some other work in the kitchen, I am not putting my this unit back up. I would love to replace it with the same thing, but that is not happening with halogens. I have already ordered something different that comes with LEDs, but I don't like the look of it as much as this one.

How does one replace the halogen light bulbs? Mine both stopped working--one at a time. Any issues with using LED-equivalents for replacement?

We also recommend that the bulb is replaced with only 120V, 50W halogen light bulb. Please clarify. The ad states the hood is 30 inches wide. The Specifications state the width is 41 inches.

It’s thirty inches. Looks great, but the lettering rubs off of the finish and the buttons are prone to fail, but this unit is 30 inches as described.
Does Frigidaire offer the option of LED lights for this model? The Halogen bulbs create too much heat and utilize too much electric power, i.e. money.
