What does “SDS” stand for?
The SDS means the type of shank the bit will have. DCH293B will only accept SDS Plus shanked bits.
Will this drill be able to handle drilling with a 2 inch sds plus core bit?
The DCH293B has a 1-1/8" chuck capacity.
Is the drill good for driving ground rods?
The hammer drill can be used to drive rods in the ground. Please see the user manual for operation and performing applications.
im looking for the do it all drill can i drill 6 inch holes in wood can it perform well as the cement mixing drill? can i remove stubborn semi lug nuts? will it break up concrete foundation slab to install new waste drains?

I have seen a sds plus drill but and 4” core bit. Can the drill handle this?
