The Apollo 3/4 in. Brass PEX Barb Polybutylene Coupling has one barb that must be conjoined to PEX pipe and the other barb must be secured to polybutylene pipe. The three barbed inlet is for PEX and the five barbed inlet is for polybutylene. To secure the fitting to PEX and polybutylene pipe you may use the crimp rings that come with this fitting or pinch clamps (sold separately). If you have further questions, please give us a call at 888-229-2874.
