Your plants will need to be planted into a larger container or in the ground to continue to grow and thrive.

These were the WORST specimens I have ever received. Tiny little sprigs barely alive. Is that usual for this product?

Mine arrived very healthy.  They’re very good about replacing them if they seem wilted/severely dehydrated.

Unfortunately, my experience has been that some plants are great, some are terrible. It all depends on where they come from and how they've been cared for. On the whole, I've gotten more bad plants than good ones. If it wasn't for COVID I wouldn't order plants like this online.

Do these grow in 86401 Kingman AZ? I want to plant them in a raised garden base. If yes, how do I care for them?

You can grow Lemon Thyme in your area. You can plant them outside in your area starting around Feb. 15. Thyme does best in full sun. Plant in soil with excellent drainage. For best growth, you'll also want to fertilize regularly.

Why can’t I order on line and then get curbside pick up? I am a chemo patient and do not want to go into the store.

                  Answer This Question

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. We are currently offering curbside pickup in most stores and are working to roll this out to all stores. If you are not being offered curbside when placing the order online then it is not yet available in your area. It may also be helpful to contact your local store by phone to confirm if this service can be performed for you. Thank you for choosing The Home Depot.

Very healthy, even in a heat wave of August
I have never ordered my herbs in the 100° heat of mid August but the ones I purchased directly from a nursery last April have already died. These are much better looking and I’m hoping they will survive the winter. They are very full, large and fragrant. Thyme plants can be tricky in the heat of summer and ice in winter, but I usually have good luck. These are off to a good start, even if it is August. Looking forward to trimming them every time I need a little pizzazz on my salmon or tuna salad! The Bonnie nursery did a terrific job growing and shipping these beautiful herbs. I will return in April and purchase more herbs from them.

If you haven't tried Lemon Thyme, you should give it a try. It has all of the health benefits of regular thyme with a fresher taste. I sprinkle some of the little leaves on salads, and mix in many casseroles to brighten them. Use a sprig for garnish in a Lemon Drop Martini for an extra wow factor. Bonnie plants have been successful plants for me for many years.

This plant was just transferred to the ground however, it is not doing well. I don’t think it’ll survive but it’s worth a try the lemon thyme

Delicious lemon thyme, does not like being transplanted.
I love lemon thyme, but these plants did not withstand the transplanting process very well. They have browned on most of the stalks, but are still alive. I am hoping they come back.

I put this next to my fridge and it's thriving! It's been less than a week and it spread out twice the size that it was when i bought it.

Pathetic example of a live plant
