        Once this grass comes up, does it die away and have to be constantly reseeded, or does it reseed itself and germinate new grass? I have a sloping hillside that is shaded and I need to understand how to maintain this grass.

                Love the seed
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the fescue because it is a shade mix which is perfect for my yard. Germination has been a bit slow, as the picture indicates, but in Minnesota and weather has been variable. The seed is incredibly pure, so lots of seed in a bag. Love that this is not a water heavy graminoid like bluegrass and hope more people turn to this as it helps conserve water. My only thought for the company would be to show a picture on the bag of how thick to sow as the bag says not to put down too thick but yet people want it thick enough to cover. Excited to watch it come in thicker and take pride in seeding low water use plants.

                  Just what we needed!
                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited to try Greenview’s Fairway formula in order to get our grass growing this season! We were a little disappointed because in April we had a couple of weeks of fair weather and thought that we were done with winter. We proceeded to spread the seed over our lawn to get our grass growing and a couple of days later we got about five inches of snow. We waited a couple of weeks which brought us to the beginning of May and put down some more seed. We were pleased to start seeing the results after about a week and a half. The grass is starting to grown in, some parts more than others. The deer are already coming by to graze. We live in Pennsylvania and it is unseasonably cold here this year considering it is May, so we weren’t off to the best start. We will be putting down more seed and look forward to better results being that it is starting to get a little warmer. So far so good!

                    Fast growing
                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an area in my yard where year after year it has been a struggle to keep grass. The area is super shady with minimal sun so area stays moist longer than rest of the yard. We put down the dense shade mixture and within a week grass was growing and now a month later the grass there is very green and about 4” tall. Hope this grass continues to grow and flourish in this area and remains through the heat of summer, only time will tell! Given my experience to date I recommend if you a shady moist area in your yard you try this seed!

                      Spring Seeding Results
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this seed down in bare spots that have been problematic for several years. They are fairly shady areas. The water has been moderate as the rainy spring season is upon us. After a month time, it is still rather difficult to grow grass in these areas. The seed was introduced to the areas then covered with dirt. As can be seen from the photos, more time and care is still needed to get this to grow and to sustain it.

                        The grass is growing!
                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted this Greenview Fairway Formula grass seed a little over two weeks ago. I have a low shady area by a planting bed that never can maintain grass. I decided to try this shady mix and so far I am really impressed. Grass is growing! It’s even growing after the area flooded and I was sure all the seed had washed away. The pictures tell the tale with before, after planting and growing grass pictures. I will let it grow another 2-3 weeks before I mow it but I am fully anticipating all my bare areas to be gone by June.

                          Great seed for shade
                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an area of my yard that is mostly shady and I have the hardest time getting anything to grow there. I did the prep work for the seed which is standard before putting down any new grass seed. The seed was easy to spread and I followed with some top soil and water. Thankfully, it is currently spring and we have gotten plenty of rain. I did water on days that the ground was drying out. It didn't take too long before I could see the little sprouts. It grows slower without having much sun which is to be expected. I am so pleased to see it doing so well. Excellent seed for shady areas.

                            Germinating taking more than 2 weeks
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been about 3 weeks and I still see some that have not started geminating. I am in Northern Virginia and I did my seeding in March. Maybe it will be better for fall season seeding? As you can see in my photos, I may get to have grass this year!! Overall, I am pleased.

                              Didnt work for me?

Other brands that I used in the past seemed to work quick. I’ll give it maybe more weeks to see if it will come out eventually.

                                Works good!
                                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grass seed was easy to use. Excellent directions listed on back of bag. I used this seed in a shady area and got good results. I did have to water every day but was very pleased with the end results.
