I am planning on installing this product direct to studs as advertised but when I look at the instructions (that are not very understandable) it shows the panels being screwed along the perimeter and glued in the middle with silicone to finished drywall. Do I need finished drywall behind the panels? if not, do I glue the panels to the wood studs?
Do not listen to the other response here. The company customer care is wrong. This goes to the studs and I'm out hours of work after following this instruction. TO THE STUDS.
