What is the width of the center drawer portion?
Are the shelves & rods adjustable to less than 24"?. Most closets in my home are not standard widths. Can the units be adjusted for 58", 68" and 42" closets? I don't want to waste any space & leaving 6-18 inches of available storage empty is unacceptable.
These units are intended to be cut down to take advantage of uniquely sized closets. The rods can be cut down easily with a hacksaw and the shelves may be cut down with a table saw or circular saw. We recommend a saw blade with at least 100 teeth to prevent chipping.
How do I cut the shelves and rods if needed to fit my closet? Circular saw?

Yes. Circular saw for shelves and hack saw or miter saw with a metal blade for the rods. I recommend taping the shelf with painters tape before cutting to minimize chipping of the finish.
