About This Product
Bare Ground 50 lbs. box of quick dissolving pool salt is a high purity, fine grained salt that dissolves quickly for use with saltwater chlorinators. It is the all natural way of adding just enough salt to the water to keep it fresh and pure while avoiding all the negative effects of chemical chlorine. Chlorine has traditonally caused skin irritation, red eye and breathing difficulties. Adding salt through a saltwater chlorinator minimizes the uncomfortable impact of harsh chemicals. The amount of salt required is minimal and less than the amount of salt in tears.

It helps maintain your pools pH level and eliminates pH bounce. Easy to use and dissolves quickly. Test for total alkalinity with a reliable test kit. The desired range for total alkalinity is as follows: Fiberglass Pools 70-100 ppm. Marcite, Painted, Tile, or Exposed Aggregate Pools 80-120 ppm. Vinyl Pools 120-140 ppm. If the total alkalinity is less than this desired range, add this product directly to the pool water while the pump is in operation, in accordance with the guide below.
