is the teak on the seat and back solid, or a veneer?
The teak The seat and back are made from phenolic material, not solid wood or veneer. Phenolic is a high-performance composite made by compressing layers of resin-impregnated material under heat and pressure. It is extremely durable, waterproof, non-porous, and designed to withstand wet environments like showers without warping, cracking, or delaminating. The “teak” refers to the color and woodgrain appearance of the phenolic, not actual teak wood.
